A normal morning quickly turned chaotic when gunfire broke out at a hospital near Detroit. The incident happened around 7:08 a.m. in a parking garage, causing panic among staff, patients, and visitors.

Authorities confirmed it was a targeted workplace shooting involving an employee. The victim, a 25-year-old man, was shot twice in the arm and taken for treatment. He was later reported to be in stable condition.

The hospital immediately responded by going into lockdown. Staff were told to stay in place, patients were moved to safer areas, and visitors were instructed to remain where they were.
