What began as an ordinary day at the Heart of the Forest wildlife rescue center quickly turned into a puzzling discovery when volunteers received a tiny, black-furred newborn animal that no one could immediately identify. Even experienced rescuers struggled, as the creature was only a few days old with soft fur and underdeveloped features that made recognition difficult.
