BREAKING: Iran Launches Over 40 Missiles in 17th Wave of Attacks Targeting U.S. and Israeli Positions

Tensions in the Middle East have increased after Iranian officials reported launching more than 40 missiles in what they called the seventeenth wave of strikes targeting positions linked to Israel and the United States. The announcement aired on state television and was attributed to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Iran said the launches are part of a broader campaign known as “Operation Honest Promise 4.” According to the statement, missiles were fired by the IRGC’s aerospace forces toward what were described as “American and Zionist targets.”

Despite the announcement, officials did not provide details about the locations hit, the missile types used, or the level of damage. Independent confirmation from international monitoring groups has not yet been released, leaving many aspects of the report unverified.

Iranian authorities described the strike as the seventeenth phase of the operation. While the full timeline of the campaign has not been publicly explained, the repeated waves of launches suggest a coordinated effort carried out over time.

Military analysts note that the IRGC’s aerospace division oversees much of Iran’s missile and drone capabilities. Its involvement may indicate the use of longer-range or precision-guided systems that are central to the country’s defense strategy.

The reported missile activity has raised concern across the region. Both Israel and the United States maintain military forces and partnerships throughout the Middle East, making any attacks involving them particularly sensitive.

Officials in Washington and Jerusalem have not yet confirmed the reported strikes. In previous incidents, both countries relied on advanced missile defense systems designed to intercept incoming threats.

For now, many details remain unclear. Experts warn that early reports during tense situations are often incomplete, and more reliable information may emerge through satellite monitoring, defense agencies, and official briefings.
